Prakruti: Your Ayurvedic Constitution is a book based on Ayurveda, the ancient healing science of India.

Dr. Robert Svoboda is the first and thus far the only Westerner ever to obtain a degree in Ayurveda. He graduated from the Tilak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, where Dr. Vasant Lad was one of his professors, in Poona, India, in 1980.

Since that time he has travelled extensively in the U.S. and Canada, lecturing and conducting workshops on the subject. Dr. Svoboda has travelled to more than fifty countries in the world and understands six languages. He is the author of several magazine and journal articles, of The Ayurvedic Home Study Course, and of a book entitled The Hidden Secret of Ayurveda. His book Aghora: At the Left Hand of God introduces the West to some of the little-known traditions of Tantra as espoused by his teacher Vimalananda.
